The rubber trim along the bottom edge of the bezel pulls off by hand; remove 3 Phillips #2 screws underneath. On the top side of the bezel, there should be notches on both sides to access the snap-in connections. The vinyl of the headliner may be blocking them from view - use a screwdriver to pry upwards on the headliner to find them. Insert a flat bladed screwdriver in one of the two notches on the bezel and pull down on the screwdriver slightly while pulling back on the bezel until you feel the ‘snap-in” connection release. Then do the other side the same way and carefully pull the bezel back, working it evenly side to side until it comes down.
The OEM headliner was vinyl and did not hold up well due to an additional layer of “spandex” integrated into the vinyl, causing the vinyl to shrink and separate from the disintegrating ester-based foam backer. As a result, newer model cabs have switched to cloth to remedy these problems.
Our products use an improved vinyl (without the additional spandex layer) that is bonded to a longer lasting ether-based (not ester-based) foam backer which greatly increases the longevity of our headliners. Your storage compartment will remain on the right side. It is confusing looking at picture but once you flip into cab, the cut out will be on the right side. Also be aware of the challenges removing the storage compartment and read instructions we provide with headliner.
Use a 4mm Allen wrench to remove the 2 bolts up inside the compartment. Use a pry bar to pry out the right-side lip from above the window trim while pushing up by hand on the left side. Unplug the wiring harness. You will need to use some force to pull down on the storage compartment and shift side to side while pulling it straight down until it's out.
If you examine your removed storage compartment, you will see a lip on the window side of the compartment. There is a recess in the plastic approximately ½” deep that originally went above the metal side rail above the window. This makes installation challenging to get the storage compartment back under that metal rail. We suggest using a sharp knife blade to score along that recess and break it off with a pliers. Then, using some force, press up on the storage compartment while shifting it side to side until it is in place.
Yes, this should fit a European 6420 as long as it does not have a roof escape hatch.
Both material types have similar life spans so it really comes down to your personal preference. Vinyl is easier to keep clean of dirt and grease while the cloth material matches the more modern look of newer tractors.

Yes, we have a cut out around perimeter on back side of panel for models that are made with 2 compartments.
